Good gosh, there is way too much news about the Phoenix Valley Metro lately. First we learned that the sheriff wanted to use the system to transport inmates. Then we see that they are using a bus to help people get lucky.

Tonight we have a more unfortunate story. The photo below was provided by Terry Donaghe and shows a car who figured he could beat the train and learned that he cannot. No one was hurt but the train lost a bumper and the car probably has a good bit of damage on the passenger side.

Let’s all remember that you can’t beat a train. Be safe at all crossings! And let’s hope that next week is quiet for the Phoenix Valley Metro.
