The same thing for being too noisy and so on. Some people like to banish others with different techniques to get a free seat, table or cabin. I agree that that's pretty nasty, but it's nothing compared to being crammed into a standing-room only train and having somebody cough or sneeze all over you while standing so close you can feel their body heat. :) I hate having to pay for the fuel to commute back and forth to work, but I'm glad I don't have to deal with the subway every day. I laughed hard. I commute to work back and forth daily on trains. And we are squished (remember there is an obesity epidemic in this country)sometimes rear ends pushing me out of my teeny "defined" part of 3 seater. And then someone starts coughing, hacking the whole train ride home. Mask anyone? That is the funniest and scariest thing I have seen/read. I laughed hard.
