The NYC MTA has apparently decided to start blogging each of the subway lines, reports Metro International. From the story, “The transit agency is planning to roll out a new blog next month focusing on hipster central, the L line, which serves Williamsburg and Bushwick and is one of the fastest growing riderships in the system.”
NYC Transit spokesman Paul Fleuranges said, “Like most blogs, we plan to have a comment section.”
I would absolutely love to be a blogger for the MTA. When I was a teenager I worked at the Transit Museum in Brooklyn and I could use that experience to bring some interesting stories to the MTA. I also think it would be a great extension of IT. All I would ask in return would be a free monthly unlimited metrocard
